Attack helicopters armed with cannons are finding new missions countering drones in Israel and Ukraine, but they're no substitute for missiles.

Ukraine launched a drone attack on a Russian chemical plant in the western city of Tula overnight on Friday into Saturday, according to the country’s security service. Russian authorities have not acknowledged the attack.

Air-defense systems shot down 21 out of the 59 drones launched by Russia at targets in Ukraine early on November 14, the Ukrainian air force reported.
